First off, don’t you LOVE her name!?! It just suits her so well!

I photographed Piper’s little brother under a two years ago and I was so happy when they brought their daughter back to be photographed! Don’t think I’ve ever seen siblings look so different though!

It was such a pleasure to visit with everyone again and I just so love seeing the newborns I photograph all “growed” up as little people. Sooooo very cool!

This is Miss Leila. My gosh was she a complete angel! Not a peep out of her the entire time she was here. And let me tell you, I had a great time playing with her and posing her in all sorts of sweet and adorable little poses!!

This morning I had the pleasure of photographing Miss Ava. And look at that face!! Can you even stand it?!? I haven’t had a newborn for what feels like forever so it was so nice to get back to it this morning. Ava started out as a very light sleeper and pretty much maintained that the whole session through. But while most babies wake up immediately if posed while in such a light sleep, Ava let me go ahead and do whatever I wanted!

Soooo… we had some fun with Ava!

It was so nice meeting you M family! Thank you for coming and spending your morning with me!

I had the absolute honor of photographing dear little Grace the other morning. Grace is a total blessing to this family… and she has been anticipated and patiently waited for, for a long while.

She’s loved and it’s very clear just by the look on her mama’s face… pure pride right there. It’s just amazing to watch. She is going to be cherished the rest of her life and isn’t that so awesome?!

I had an amazing time with you both G! Thank you so much for bringing your little girl over and I can’t wait to see you all again soon!

Meet Smith! I photographed his mommy’s maternity and his big sister as a newborn two years ago and had such a nice time with both sessions! That’s why I was so happy when Smith’s mommy was the first to respond to my casting call I put out last weekend. I got a new prop (and had a few new poses) I wanted to try out!

So here we go… my brand new prop! Thank you to my mother and father in law for thinking of me and finding this amazing vintage pram for me! I’ve been on the hunt for over a year now and I’m so happy to add it to my collection!! Next up… take it outside to my field and have some fun out there. Come on Mr. Sun… I need you for that one!!

So I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again! It’s just so much fun to photograph old friends. It’s such a nice way to have a session… reminiscing on old times, catching up on new ones. So when S and J called me to do their baby’s photos a while back, I was super excited. I went to high school with both of them and was looking forward to hearing all about how life is treating them! See, theirs is a love story… like a true love story… like one out of a storybook. Their story of reconnection and lifelong adoration is totally inspiring and makes you believe in soul mates.

It was such a lovely morning… even though our sweet, sweet subject would not sleep for anything we did. All the stops were pulled out and he wasn’t having any of it. But isn’t he just THE cutest little thing with those big dark eyes?!?! He did show up sleeping… and here’s the proof!!

I had the pleasure of meeting Miss Riley this morning. Her mommy came to me for her maternity photos not too long ago and it was so nice to see the baby that was waiting to come see our world.

Of course her big sister Molly is just an absolute dream to work with and the comments that come out of her mouth are just soooo sweet. She’s just a little angel!

I’ve said it before, but I truly mean it! When my clients come to me a second, third and even fourth time, I take it as a massive compliment!! It literally makes me giddy! I also absolutely LOVE watching these families grow… it’s one of the best parts of my job. <3

So meet this little armful of sweetness! I photographed her big brother Graydon as a newborn, and then again as a one year old and it was so nice to see them all again. Miss V was such an angel… once she was sleeping, she was out! LOVE those kinds of babies…. who am I kidding, I love ALL kinds of babies!!

Ok, on to the photos!

Meet sweet Sophie. Such a dream to photograph… she just slept the whole time! Add the long lashes and the rosebud lips and I was in heaven!

I spent the morning with the J family in their beautiful home and it was so lovely to be out in gorgeous Vancouver soaking up the sun and the Olympic ambiance! I don’t know if I’ll get in to town while the Olympics are officially on (probably not, I’m an AWFUL city driver on the best of days!!) but it was so cool to see all the Go CANADA Go! signs and all the Olympic preparations. How exciting!!

Anyways back to sweet Sophie… did I mention she was a dream!? I just fell in love with her! Thank you J family for having me over this morning. It was my pleasure!

I have been waiting to shoot this session for a very long time! Mom and dad booked me for the maternity and newborn package that I offer, however mom was put on bedrest and hospitalized before we ever had a chance to get to the belly session. Mom was kind enough to keep me posted even when little Annie and Luke decided to come early. I got so attached to this new little family I never met. It was so wonderful to finally meet them and see first hand how wonderful they are. These babies are loved…. truly loved.

Thank you so much W family for having me into your home. It was truly a pleasure!
