Jared Fowler's Release of Vancouver Rain on iTunes | Vancouver, BC

Ok ladies and gents! We have gotten many requests from our clients (and others) wanting to purchase a copy of Made for Me, the track playing on our newborn website here: www.lucylimestudios.com/jillian. Seriously, if you haven’t heard the song, and if you have babies (or don’t) you must here this song. It’s just so beautiful!

The amazing writers of the song, Jared Fowler and his wife Angie Palfrey, have released the album Vancouver Rain on iTunes. The Made for Me track is the last track of the album but I can vouch that every song in this set is amazing and truly personifies the West Coast feel. Check it out! Give her a listen, and then buy the album… you won’t regret it!

Erin – Fun, Sexy Maternity | Maternity Photography, Langley, BC | Jillian Kirby

Most of you have probably seen or heard of Erin… she’s the brains and wit behind My Urban Suburban and also a great friend of Lucy Lime’s. So when I heard that she was pregnant and having a little baby of her own, I was soooo excited to have the chance to photograph her again… but this time with a lovely, adorable little belly! Erin came in to the session with such a fantastic attitude and we just had so much fun! As you’ll see, she’s GORGEOUS and makes one amazing pregnant lady (ps. those are pre-pregnancy jeans… and yes, they’re completely done up! I know, I know… but don’t shoot the messenger! haha!).

Anyways, here she is… Erin, I had a great time with you last night and I can’t wait to meet that little girl of yours!! See you in a few weeks time!!!

I don’t know if any of you remember Mr. Briggs from about a year and a half ago? I photographed him and his family when he was just a few days old. It turned out to be one of my fave sessions of all time because it included this image which I absolutely LOVE:

Well Mr. Briggs has grown a litte since I’ve seen him last… he’s a big boy now and has a new little brother! Meet Mr. Ryker! It’s just the best to watch families grow and photograph it as they go. I just can’t believe that it was over 19 months ago that I took that first shot of Briggs in his Grandpa’s hands. It was so great to see you all again L family!!

Abigail and her Sisters | Newborn Photography, North Vancouver, BC | Jillian Kirby

Today I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Miss Abigail. She was a total DREAM and slept the entire time! I heart sleepy babies. ;)

Usually I suggest to parents that the newborn session might not be the best time to get sibling shots, just because we like to fuss with baby as little as possible to keep him/her in a good mood. And by the end of the session, little babes are usually done with me and my camera!! ;)  But Miss Abigail’s big sisters were so lucky cause not only did her grandma drive them out to my studio at the end of the session, but Abigail decided to sleep so nicely for the photo too!

Thank you to all the ladies today! I had such a nice morning with all of you and can’t wait to see you again!

This is sweet Sophia! She LOVES to get her photo taken… she basically slept through the whole session! You can imagine, that made my job a lot easier! ;)

It was sooo nice to meet you today Sophia (and it was nice to meet your mommy and daddy too!).

By the way folks, Shannon and I are headed to Vegas for WPPI (a huge photography convention) this week. So if it’s a little quite around here, know we’ll be back with lots of photos, new products and new ideas!!
