What can I say about Annie and Luke… I just adore them. You may remember these two little angels. I photographed them as newborns almost 7 months ago. Wow, I can’t believe it’s been 7 months already. It really feels like just yesterday. Annie and Luke were born early but did just so wonderfully… little troopers they are.
Today they came in to the studio to have their 6 months session done and I’m just so happy to see them again. I know I go on and on about it, but it honestly makes me so happy to see my newborns grow and become these gorgeous babies.
Luke is a charmer. He’s quiet… observant. He takes it all in and it’s just so endearing. He’s gorgeous this boy… he’ll be a heartbreaker, no doubt.
Annie, well what can I say… I’ve found a new best friend! Annie and I hit it off right away and it was like no time had passed.
She’s a free spirit… just plain happy to be here. Annie stole my heart… she even gave me a hug, which I’m told, she doesn’t do very often!
These two are absolutely ADORABLE!!! I am so happy I get to be the one that documents their first year of life! Can’t wait to see them again in another 6 months!! Thanks W family… it was such a pleasure to see you today!!
I’ve said it before, but I truly mean it! When my clients come to me a second, third and even fourth time, I take it as a massive compliment!! It literally makes me giddy! I also absolutely LOVE watching these families grow… it’s one of the best parts of my job. <3
So meet this little armful of sweetness! I photographed her big brother Graydon as a newborn, and then again as a one year old and it was so nice to see them all again. Miss V was such an angel… once she was sleeping, she was out! LOVE those kinds of babies…. who am I kidding, I love ALL kinds of babies!!

Also, today is the last day for submissions for the Decorate my Nursery contest!! So go ahead and send in your half painted rooms, and half designed spaces!! We’ve also opened it up a bit… the winner can now choose between a newborn session or a 6 month session… so let’s see em!
So I mentioned earlier in the week that I was hoping to start a new feature here on the blog focusing on local moms and their amazing talents and business ventures. I know that I LOVE shopping local and putting money back in to our own economy. I think it’s so important to support each other in our endeavors and help each other become successful. I also just think that our local mompreneurs have such great products that it would be so great to introduce you all to them! I can’t wait to show you what you’ve all been missing… until now that is!
So for our very first feature, I’d love to introduce you to the lovely Liz Clay of Cici Art Factory. I first came across Liz’s work at babycheeks children’s boutique in South Surrey and instantly fell in love. Liz creates children’s art and it’s really unlike anything I’ve seen.
