Sayler

I heart this family!! I have gotten to know them over the past two years starting with their first pregnancy with twins. They’ve been in my studio a few times now and I’ve sooo enjoyed watching these two gorgeous boys grow. Now Brody and Steele have welcomed their brand new little sister Sayler to the clan, and I am so lucky to be able to photograph this adorable little girl as well.

Being a redhead myself, I’ve always wanted a redheaded baby, but never got one. So when M brought Sayler into my studio with her glowing red hair (and a ton of it!), I fell in love instantly. She slept so soundly, and the whole session was as smooth as could be.

Thank you for coming in B family! I can’t wait to see you all again soon!

Baron and Dominic

Two sets of twins in the span of a week!? So much fun! I absolutely LOVE the challenge of trying to keep two babies content and comfy while I pose them and create art for their nursery walls. These little guys were so good for us and just snuggled right into each other every time we placed them close. Mommy and Daddy are clearly smitten and it was so wonderful to spend the morning with them!

Miles and Hazel

This gorgeous set of newborn baby twins came to see me when they were already 6 weeks old! Normally that is a VERY tough age to photograph, and while not impossible, it can be difficult to capture sleepy, serene shots like what you see on my blog with one baby… let alone twins! Not these two! They proved me wrong in every way. Hazel and Miles were sleepy and cooperative and didn’t mind me posing them while they slept… they were an absolute dream to photograph!

Payton and Avery | Twin One Year Old Babies, Richmond BC | Jillian Kirby

Wow…. One year old baby photo sessions can be tricky… I’m not gonna lie! One year olds are fast… so fast! And there’s no reasoning with a one year old… none whatsoever! Make it TWO one year olds and you’ve got a challenge… but a FUN challenge!!! I honestly did not stop laughing at the antics of these two beautiful babies all morning… it was so nice to see them again (Avery and Payton are Bambino Members and so I photographed them as newborns and then as 6 months olds as well). This family is just so loving and so kind… I hope to see them many more times as they grow!

Thank you R family for coming out to the park that morning. It was so lovely to see you all!
