Mommy and Daddy were so excited when we told them we could squeeze them in for a session with their dear little Ariana! In my line of work, it seems that I’m either smokin’ busy cause all my babies decided to come in the same week, or it’s dead slow cause none of my mommas have given birth yet. Soooo, sometimes ya luck out when you call last minute, and that’s exactly what happened for Ariana! And aren’t I happy… cause look how absolutely adorable she is!!!!

Last week I had a run of such unique names… I just love it! One of my clients once told me that she picked her baby name by going through my blog and looking at the last few years’ blog posts. I must say that I don’t get a lot of repeats… my clients are very original when they pick their baby’s names and that’s just how it should be!

Enter in Mr. Cezar! I absolutely adore it and he was definitely a “Cezar” if ever I saw one… strong, charming and stoic!

Catching up on blog posts again… somehow I have managed to fall behind once again! I guess it’s that time of year!!

Another little PSA while I’m at it… I’ve had a lot of calls this week for newborn sessions and unfortunately I’m all booked up thru the New Year. I absolutely hate turning people away. If you’d like to have a session with me and you’re expecting, please try and book in as early as possible to ensure that you get a spot on our Due Date List. We only take a limited number of due dates a month to ensure that we can get your session done in a timely manner, no matter when your little one decides to make his/her appearance so contact us soon!

Alrighty! Now that’s all out of the way, here is sweet Mr. Oscar! Don’t you love the originality of his name?! I don’t think I’ve ever photographed an Oscar. Just love it! Without further ado… Oscar!

This little lady has the sweetest name! Actually I’ve had a week full of awesome-ly unique names and they’re all coming on the blog. Thank you to all my clients for being so patient while I recovered from pneumonia. I’m back on my feet (after a two week stint in bed!!) and am getting back at it and trying to frantically catch up on editing.

HUGE thanks goes out to my wonderful Studio Manager, Shannon, who kept the place running smoothly while I was out of commission! Not the best time of year to be sick!

Matteo came by to see me and brought his adorable older sisters. I just absolutely adore these girls and had so much chatting with them while mommy fed little brother. And just look at him! Brothers…. I once heard a quote: ” I’m better than a super hero, I’m a big brother”.

And I always thought it was so sweet. So I’m so happy for little Matthew that he now has Ian in his life. Matthew was my little newborn client two years ago and now his equally adorable little brother was in for his turn.

Ian was so darling and such a good little model and as always, it was so good seeing his mommy and daddy in the studio again!

This baby was such a sweet little one… sooooo gorgeous! I photographed her big brother not too long ago when he was a newborn and then again at six months. It’s just so much fun to watch these little ones grow and become siblings. Honestly, BEST part of my job! BY FAR!!!! I can’t get over how big Jax has gotten and how good he was with his sweet little sister.

Well I have been M.I.A. for the last couple weeks or so. I was so happy to have a break in deliveries and the ability to take some much needed time to spend with my family! We even headed up to Blue Lake and spent a weekend swimming like fish and roasting marshmellows by the fire. This week I’ve been helping my two go back to school, especially my youngest Jake who is starting Kindergarten this year!! YIKES!!!

It goes fast people…. the time goes too fast.

But this week things start getting back to normal with the kids’ schedules going to full day at school. And I have a very fun and exciting announcement early this week that I can’t wait to post all about. This is going to make JK Baby a better company and allow me to offer the true boutique services that I have always wanted to give. With this change, it will start a flood of changes and I can’t wait to get started. So keep your eye on the blog for the news this week!

And now on to more important news… and that is the birth of sweet dear Angus. He decided to make his entrance early and surprise his mommy, daddy and big brother! Thank you so much Angus for being so lovely at the session and to the whole M family… thank you for giving me your morning!

Anna was awake for the beginning of our session but oh so charming and content… I just loved the way she looked at her mommy and daddy, all inquisitive like. You just couldn’t help but want to snuggle her and cuddle her!

And when she finally did fall asleep, she was such a good girl! Very jumpy and sensitive to my posing her, but a little patience and Miss Anna was an absolute joy to work with.

I hope you love the images B family! It was so much fun to have you all in the studio!
