With the details that I give you, you will have to find their particular blog post and retrieve the answer to a question about that post. The contest was VERY close! While the first place winner came in a good 4 minutes ahead of second place, second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth all came in within 40 seconds of each other. The rest came in over the following 20 minutes and it’s now slowed down.

It has a timer so it’ll time your feeds for you AND it will email the report straight to your doctor/midwife!! So on August 8th, I took the dive and legally became a business. That first year was hard… crazy stressful… TOTALLY worth every minute! Lucky for me I had the support of my amazing husband, and honestly if it wasn’t for him, I probably wouldn’t be here… honestly! There were so many times when I was ready to throw in the towel (business and that sort of thing don’t come easy to me and it was quite frustrating at times… I just wanted to take pretty pictures!    But my husband pushed me to keep going and follow my dreams and for that, I will ALWAYS be so grateful.

As the last few years have passed, my business has taken on a few different models and all have been wonderful and taken me to the next level. Now, three years later, I’m so thankful for how fast my business has grown and sooooo very appreciative to each and every single client that has passed through my studio. Thank you for the faith you gave me and the trust you lent me to capture the very precious moments of your children’s lives! I hope I can continue to do so as the time goes on.

I mean a FIRM believer. What goes around comes around, and all that jazz, right? Well it’s more like, I know how hard it can be in this world sometimes, and if we all just stop to help each other out once in awhile, it would be much easier… don’t ya think?!?

Being a mommy/entrepreneur myself, I KNOW it’s not easy. I know it can be tough at times, long hours, LATE hours, one man show and all that. So I would love to help out some other mommies in the same situation as me. I have a pretty great following on this little blog (and it grows everyday!). Lots of people like to read it and I’m very proud of that.   I want to keep it interesting, and relevant for my mommies and mommies-to-be that read every day… and I’d LOVE to help fellow and local mompreneurs!

Sooooo, send me an email! If you’re a momprenuer in BC (or knows someone who is!), send me an email! I want to interview you. I want to tell my readers about what you have to offer…. of course, I’m kind of thinking we should stay in the range of baby products as *most* people who read my blogs are in that stage of the game. PICTURE TIME!!!! 

These are my kiddos… Ash and Jake. They are my reason for everything. Love them to death. But I’ll tell you more about them later!

I was so proud.

And I tried so hard to explain the significance to my kids… pretty sure they missed it. But in 20 years, they’ll be able to say that they saw the torch come through their hometown… even if the memories are vague.

Of course, I snapped some photos so I hope you enjoy them!  Happy Olympics everyone!

GO CANADA GO!!!!!

This is our crew… these little guys range in age from 3 to 7 and they were soooooo good waiting for that torch to come running by!!!

And then the 2010 bus came by and to our surprise, it dropped off the next relay participant, Sergio Grossi, smack dab in front of where we had decided to stand! I was so excited that we were going to get to watch the passing of the torch right in front of us!! (I know… I’m a bit of a nerd!) 

The next thing we knew, here came the torch bearer running down the road and the kiddos finally started to perk up! 

ETA: Someone who follows our blog knows the torch bearer who was waiting to receive the flame and contacted us to let us know his name. He is Sergio Grossi! Congrats Sergio! If anyone knows the name of the gentleman who was running the flame to Sergio, please do let us know!

And off he goes for the next leg of the 2010 torch relay. So cool!!! Tonight Rick Hansen carries it to ignite the Richmond cauldron! Apparently the final bearer is still a secret… some guess it will be Wayne Gretzky…. hmmmm…. who do you think it will be?
