I must be on some sort of “awake baby” role. LOL But truth be told, I don’t mind too much. It’s kind of fun being challenged with a little one that just wants to be awake for her close-up! We work around the flailing arms and uncontrolled facial expressions and we can usually still end up with some gorgeous gems. And who doesn’t love a shot of a fresh new baby with her eyes wide open!?

I do.

Oh my dear sweet Tavian! Your mommy may be in trouble!!! With two year old twins running around she needs a baby that will sleep… a LOT! But our handsome Tavian has other plans. This little guy is strong and alert and taking it all in. He was in my studio for two hours and did not nap for a moment. I can’t say I was complaining… he was absolutely content and look at him! He is stunning… who wouldn’t want to capture those observing eyes.

This week I had the true pleasure of photographing the sweet new baby of Global News Anchor, Chris Gailus and his lovely wife Jane Carrigan. This baby boy is just so lucky to have two such loving and genuine people as his parents. They are equally lucky though… sweet Will is calm and beautiful and serene.

Oh the love and adoration was palpable. It truly was. I was smiling for the rest of the day after this session.

This little guy is that of a friend of mine. She brought this gorgeous little guy in for some shots and by the end of the session, it was all I could do not to pack him away in my purse and take him home with me. He was so cute and so sweet and so good and so content and so cute and so lovely…. and soooooo CUTE!!!

I could have played all day!   (and this sneak peek could be much bigger than it is!)
