It was my pleasure to photograph little Jacob today on his 6th day of life.
This session was special… not only is Jacob’s mommy an old friend of mine, but she has also had a very difficult time post-delivery and has remained in hospital in the ICU. I so hope that when she wakes up and recovers from the ordeal that she has been through, that she will be happy to have these photos of her little boy. He is just the sweetest little guy going!

Jacob is a miracle baby just as his Mommy was when she was born. My cousin Amie has grown-up to be an amazing woman and we all know she will be an amazing Mommy to Jacob. She will love these photo’s and I’m sure she and Todd will treasure them. It’s a ray of sunshine in a very dark week, thanks for sharing them.

oh Jill, they are as precious as he is, I LOVE the peanut one, they are all just perfect *sniff* great work! I am so happy they were able to do this photo session during this difficult time, I imagine Amie and Todd will treasure these forever. This families love and devotion along with baby Jacob is all Amie needs to get strong and heal completely. Amie is deep in our thoughts and I’m so happy you were able to capture Jacob so wonderfully, and meet him too

These photos are so heart-warming. I just want to keep looking at them as a way to feel connected to Amie, little Jacob and the whole family. I can see why Amie wanted to have these shots done; you are a gifted photographer. The one with his little toes poking through is so precious!
